Moira Jean is one of Wellington’s most sought-after vocalists. With her contemporary look, wide-ranging sound and passionate delivery, she’s sheer versatility.

The front-woman of choice for high-profile bands such as The Fades, Superbad and Raw Collective, she also regularly collaborates with some of the country’s top musicians including jazz big-band legend Rodger Fox’s FunkBone Experience, and drummer, composer and producer Reuben Bradley, playing his original music as well as performing at jazz festivals around the country as part of Reuben Bradley’s Sing! Sing! Sing!

THE FRANK BURKITT BAND

Original Americana & Scottish Folk

The Frank Burkitt Band are a string band fronted by singer-songwriter and guitarist Frank Burkitt. Playing a range of American Roots music, the FBB are becoming one of the best-known string bands in NZ, gaining recognition for their tight arrangements, interesting songwriting, and uplifting and colourful performances.

After being based in New Zealand, Frank has now relocated to the UK after an extensive tour of New Zealand, Australia, Scotland, England and a solo tour of Canada. Louis performed with Frank on a number of shows & on their 2018 release ‘Lost but Alive’.
